Not Much of a Summer Vacation.

Well, I'm still just about here in Krakow, Poland. I'll be leaving on the 29 June through Berlin, where I'll see the sights. But the next essays ( I hate the word "blogs" ) will be on Craig Murray's Murder in Samarkland. Murray is an important figure and I'll be taking a closer look at him soon.

As for the ideologue Lucas a shorter abbreviated version of the main flaws will appear in a week or so ( so much for my advertise "summer vacation" ) for those who might not have the patience to plugh through the some eight or more blogs I've devoted to him ( maybe more ).

But Lucas isn't that important in himself.

What is, is that the New Cold War fantasy is a mainstream platitude amongst an important section of opinion formers and foreign policy makers in the West, especially Central Europe.

More essays will appear thematically nation by nation, forming the basis for choosing each state he mentions and , though taking pot shots at his opinions, focusing more on individual Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia and 'the stans'-as well as Russia and Ukraine.

Certainly the lame Lucas will be wheeled in at times to show how fundamentally foolish , myopic and ideological those like him are in fitting the facts to the grand propaganda narrative that panders and creeps around the the powerful.
